Do you want all your favorite torrent files on your iPhone or iPad? Then you’ve come to the right place. In the same way that you can use Transmission to download torrent files to your PC or Mac, iTransmission is used for downloading those same files to your mobile device. It’s a great app and it works on all OS devices.
There is a problem though
You can’t download iTransmission from the official app store. Why? Because Apple does not like torrent files and will not allow any app that makes it possible to download them. That’s not a problem anymore because I have found a way to install iTransmission onto the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
I’m jumping ahead though
App Features :
First, you might want to see what you’re getting with this app:
- It’s free and you don’t need Cydia
- New torrents can be easily added
- Downloads can easily be paused and resumed
- Choose data or Wi-Fi for downloading
- See torrent information at a glance
- Very user-friendly
- Many more features
So, what’s the secret?
Download iTransmission :
The secret is this – you can only get this app from TweakBox, an external app store that offers tons of apps and games for free, all with additional features. You can even get a few Cydia tweaks and using it requires only that you download it to your device, search the store for the app name and install it:
It’s ridiculously simple
iTransmission really is the best way to download torrent files onto your mobile device so go ahead and try it. You have nothing to lose except a minute of your time and TweakBox will open the door to a whole new world of apps for you.

Fix Untrusted Developer Error :
Apple will do whatever they can to prevent you from using unofficial apps like TweakBox, One way is that, when you try opening TweakBox the first time, they will show you an untrusted developer error and won’t let you go any further. Fix this by trusting the app profile:
- Open Your iOS Settings app and tap on General
- Tap Profiles & Device Management and wait for the list of profiles to load
- Find the app, tap it and tap Trust
- Close Settings, go back to the app and try again; the error will not appear.
Fix Apps Crashing Issue :
Tweak Box is one of the best unofficial app stores in existence and that means Apple won’t want you to use it. Within 7 days if installing it, Apple will pull the certificate. Tweak Box will crash, as will any app, game or tweak you installed through it, and you are left having it install it all again. You can get around this quite easily – we recommend a couple of VPNs that you work well with the app installer to protect the certificate and stop Apple revoking it.
