Method 1: Using TweakBox
- Download TweakBox onto your iPhone or iPad following the linked guide
- Open TweakBox, search for the app under Tweaked Apps or directly click the button above and download it
- Start using the app

Method 2: Using IPA File
This method is more advanced; it uses Cydia Impactor to sideload the modified app and requires you to follow the instructions very carefully.
You will need your Apple ID to hand but, if you don’t want to use your regular ID, feel free to set up another free account that you can use with Cydia Impactor.
Also, if you are running the stock Snapchat app, you should remove it. Otherwise, you may find that the two apps “CONFLICT” with one another.
- Delete Snapchat from your iOS device if you have the stock app
- Check that iTunes is up to date, you won’t need it, but it must be the latest version
- Now plug your iPhone or iPad into your computer and make sure iTunes is closed
- Download Cydia Impactor onto your computer
- Download the plus app .ipa file onto your computer
- Open Cydia Impactor
- Extract the Snapchat Plus .ipa file from the file you downloaded and drag it into the Cydia Impactor window
- Now type your Apple ID in and your password
- Cydia Impactor is now going to get the added file and sign it so be patient as this may take a few minutes
- When it is done, open your iOS settings app
- Go to the Profiles section under General
- Find the app certificate and tap it
- Tap on Trust and then close settings down
- Look on your home screen; you should see the new app icon
SnapChat Plus Not Working?

Tried all different download mirrors and the app. instant crashes upon opening. So I tried the IPA version with impactor – and atleast it got me to the login part and could enter my information, but again that was it… “ooops you are trying blah blah blah 3rd party software”
So it’s definately not working on current version of iOS.

Just to everyone know that this version Snapchat does not work with any versions of iOS 12, the app crashes upon opening.

I installed the app. it opens and all, but it does not let me login because it recognizes the app as “third party vendor app” . any suggestions? I tried on vpn and still the same.
